Most people don't know: the friendly sales rep in the model home works for the builder. They're great people, but their job is to protect the builder's bottom line, not yours. My job is to protect you. Often the builder covers my fee, and I'll explain how it works for your build.
I'll help you compare builders and lots, figure out which upgrades are worth it and which ones are just fancy countertops with a fancy price tag, and keep an eye on things before closing.
One tip: bring me along on your very first visit to the model home. Some builders won't let an agent jump in after you've already registered.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who does the sales rep in a model home work for?
The builder. They're great people, but their job is to look out for the builder. Your own agent looks out for you.
When should I bring an agent to a new construction community?
On your very first visit. Some builders won't let an agent join after you've already registered.
Do I have to pay to have my own agent on a new build?
Often the builder covers the buyer's agent fee, but it varies by builder and agreement. I'll explain exactly how it works before you commit to anything.
